Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton is set to return to Milwaukee, reports say

Sources: Bucks Agree To 2-Year Deal With Robin Lopez

Milwaukee Bucks' Brook Lopez reacts to his three-point basket during the second half of Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference basketball playoff finals against the Toronto Raptors Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Milwaukee.

The Indiana Pacers have answered the call after Darren Collison suddenly and unexpectedly retired by announcing they had completed a massive sign-and-trade with the Milwaukee Bucks that got them Malcolm Brogdon.

The Milwaukee Bucks emerged from the 2018-19 season in fantastic shape. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots in 81 games.

The 26-year-old was a restricted free agent, so the Bucks were able to get a nice return for the departing player.

Replacing Brogdon will be easier than replacing either Lopez or Middleton, but there's no question that losing the superb role player will make the Bucks worse next season. Perhaps his greatest value was as a 3-point shooter, where he connected on 36.5% and sank a career-best 187 3-pointers.

According to a report from The Athletic, Hill agreed to a three-year, $29 million deal Sunday when free agency began.

They are under pressure to keep a competitive team together in order to entice Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign with them long term next offseason.
